This work is intended to study the ideological significance of tragic hero in Shakespeare. Detailed analysis of Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear and Othello have been chosen wherein the ideological significance and its implication have deeply rooted and involved. The ideological significance of hero in Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello and King Lear is thought provoking and keeps a distinct identity in the dramatic world.
